“This positions us well in an ever increasing and competitive global market,” said David Cillay, vice president of the Global Campus. “Last Friday’s decision is another important step in WSU’s long efforts to bring education beyond geographical boundaries.”
Global Campus non-resident tuition is currently 28 percent higher than resident tuition. The change is expected to take effect for Fall 2013 and is for both undergraduate and graduate students, although it doesn’t apply to either WSU’s online MBA or EMBA.
Global Campus resident tuition rates will remain identical to WSU system-wide tuition as will rates for non-resident students enrolled at a physical WSU campus who take Global Campus courses.

This is wonderful news!!
ReplyDeleteThis Is GREAT!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is the best news I heard in a long time.Thank you WSU.
ReplyDeleteOnly for those out of state. How about discounting residents?
ReplyDeleteIt's great news, but a bummer for out of state alumni(such as myself).
ReplyDeletethis is great, but why does this not apply to the online MBA/EMBA program ?
ReplyDeleteThe online MBA/EMBA have always charged a single rate for in-state and out-of-state students. That won't change.
ReplyDeleteThank you WSU! That's great news!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat news for active duty military who depend largely on online courses to continue their education. It's so wonderful to have an option other than the for-profit schools. Being a Washington resident, I've already been able to take advantage of WSU's great program. It's good to see this opportunity extended to all service-members. Once again, WSU leads the way!
ReplyDeleteThank you!!
ReplyDeleteThis is great news! I reside in FL and recently finished my degree at WSU. My entire undergrad program was at WSU while paying out of state tuition. I was researching FL universities to attend grad school due to costs, but this news just opened up a new option. Thank you WSU!
ReplyDeleteExcellent! What grad degree are you interested in?
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful news. Thanks for article
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU!! This is awesome news!!
ReplyDeleteactually great things here, just many thanks
ReplyDeleteMy husband plans to use his gi bill at WSU in the Fall due to this change... Thank you so much!
ReplyDeletewhy exclude MBA and EMBA !!
ReplyDeletethese two degrees are the highest cost among the WSU online degrees , I was expecting MBA to be part of the discount :(
The online MBA programs already offer the same rate to both in-state and out-of-state students.
