Exam Tip: Avoid last-minute glitches

You’ve got an exam and you’ve got a plan: Take the test on the last day it’s offered to maximize your study time.
Bad idea, says student support guru Mike Mackessy.
Here’s why. Suppose technical problems crop up. While the exam is open, Student Services can see how much you’ve accomplished and reset the exam.
But if you wait until the last minute, the exam period might close before the exam can be fixed. Then, instead of a simple reset, you’ll need an exam date extension, which requires permission from the instructor.
Questions? Call Student Services at 800-222-4978.
